On Sunday, April 12, 2015, at approximately 2:20 a.m., police received a call for an assault at a restaurant in the Queen Street East and Church Street area.
It is reported that:
– a 43-year old man had a verbal exchange with a group of men who were standing outside the restaurant
– the men yelled racial epithets at the man
– the man entered the restaurant and, a short time later, the men also entered the restaurant
– the man was hit in the head with an expandable baton by one of the men
The man with the expandable baton is described as white, 5’8
