Police Search For Missing 16 Year Old Swimmer

(LAKE HURON, ON) – On August 2, 2015 at 2:49 p.m. the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a missing swimmer in Lake Huron off the shores of Kincardine. The 16 year old male teen was last seen near the south pier at the Kincardine Harbour. He’s described as 5’ tall, with dark shaggy hair, wearing a black bathing suit.

Members of the South Bruce OPP, South Bruce OPP Marine Unit, South Bruce OPP Crime Unit, OPP West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Kincardine Fire Department attended the beach to help with the search.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
