Police Respond Report Of Explosions – Stephen Redman & Eric Brown Charged

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Saturday October 13, 2012 at 12:50pm, County of Wellington OPP officers attended the area of the Starkey Hill Conservation Area, Puslinch Township, responding to the report of explosions in the area.

Investigation lead OPP to the Guelph Police Service firing range, located on Watson Road South, Puslinch Township. A search of the firing range was conducted by OPP, and members of the Guelph Police Service. Two males were found on the property and charged with trespassing. No explosives or firearms were located.

Stephen Redman, age 24 of Guelph, and Eric Brown, age 23 of Guelph-Eramosa Township have been charged with Enter Premises When Entry Prohibited, contrary to the Trespass to Property Act. They are scheduled to appear in Guelph court on November 21 2012, to answer to the charges.
