(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) Shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday morning April 18, 2010 a Wellington County OPP officer was following a south bound vehicle on Hwy. 23 near line 90. The officer observed the vehicle suddenly cross the entire roadway, go down an embankment, roll and come to rest in a small creek.
The officer assisted the lone female driver and she was transported to Palmerston Hospital with minor injuries. The 26 year old female driver from Listowel has been charged with “careless driving†as a result of this collision. The vehicle sustained extensive damage.
