A disturbance after midnight at the rear of a licensed establishment in the 300 block of 8th Street East lead Owen Sound Police officers to investigate a 21 year old Montreal female. During the investigation the female kicked a uniform police officer in the groin area with her foot. The female was taken into custody. A search incident to arrest revealed the female to be in possession of a ‘crack’ pipe, a small quantity of marihuana, as well as a white powdery substance that appeared to be crystal Meth. The police officer did not require medical attention. The female has been held for a bail hearing this morning in answer to numerous criminal matters, including: causing a disturbance, assault police, possession of marihuana, and possession of Methamphetamine.
