(FERGUS, ON) – On December 13, 2012 at about 4:10pm a County of Wellington OPP Officer observed what he believed to be a drug deal in progress on St. David Street north, and Edinburgh Ave north in the town of Fergus. 2 males were stopped and questioned. As a result of the investigation, a small quantity of marijuana was seized from both males.
Michael Vervaeke, age 18 of Fergus has been charged with Possession of Marijuana-under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Eric Sayers, age 20 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marijuana- under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and Breach of Probation, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. Both have a Guelph court date of January 25, 2013 to answer to the charges.
