(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is investigating the recent robbery of a convenience store and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
On September 3, 2013, at approximately 2:55 am, a lone male suspect entered a convenience store situated along the 1000 block of Merivale Road. The suspect, carrying a knife, approached the store employee and demanded cash. The suspect fled with an undisclosed, but small quantity of cash, last seen running on Shillington Avenue. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being male, dark complexion, approximately 20-25 years of age, 6’0(183 cm)
