Police Looking For Suspicious Person

(WALKERTON, ON) On March 22, 2013 at 9:53 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a suspicious person report from a resident along Miller Street in Walkerton. The past couple of mornings, the home owner has found foot prints in the snow around the vehicles. The vehicles weren’t entered and nothing was stolen, but it appears someone has an interest in the vehicles.

In order to help owners protect their vehicles, the South Bruce OPP is sending another reminder the Auto Theft Protection Tips from the Lock it or Lose it initiative:

Rolls up the windows, lock the doors and pocket the keys.

Always park in a well-lit area.

Always remove valuables or ensure they are not in plain view.

The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
