On June 9th 2016, police commenced an investigation into a fight being posted to twitter, showing two boys involved in a fight. Police along with the Cameron Heights administration team, successfully identified the involved parties.
Further investigation revealed that there were another 3 older fight videos also posted to this twitter account, involving the same peer group and had previously been investigated by police and school administration. The most recent video featured in CTVs news story had transpired on June 8th, 2016 after school hours and school administrators and police were unaware that the fight had occurred. Police and school administrators have taken appropriate action in relation to the incident. Police continue to investigate to determine, who was responsible for the creation of the twitter account and identifying all parties involved.
