Police continue to investigate after a 16 year old girl was accosted by an unknown man while walking in the area of Cline Park located at 60 Pinewoods Drive just shortly after 7:00am on Tuesday October 4, 2016. It was reported that the unknown man hugged the 16 year old girl and attempted to kiss her. She was able to leave the area to report the matter. Police continue to investigate the incident at this time.
Police would like to alert the community, students and parents of this incident and to take the opportunity to encourage everyone to remain alert and aware of their surroundings. If at all possible students should walk in pairs or with an adult. Students are reminded to report all suspicious activity to a responsible adult, parent or guardian, school staff member and the Police as soon as possible.
