(HURON EAST, ON) – On May 29, 2012 just before 10:00 p.m. Huron OPP officers and members from the Grey Twp. Fire Department responded to an unoccupied residence fire located on North Line south of Blyth Road. Firefighters were able to control the fire; however the two story brick farm house sustained extensive interior smoke damage. The total dollar value of damages sustained is not known at this point.
The cause of the fire is suspicious in nature. The Huron OPP Crime Unit continues to investigate.
