(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On June 13, 2018 at approximately 5:30 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Thames Centre Fire Department and Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Hamilton Road, between Breen Road and Putnam Road, Municipality of Thames Centre.
The investigation thus far has revealed that a passenger motor vehicle was traveling eastbound on Hamilton Road, when it left the roadway for unknown reasons and entered the south ditch. The collision caused the vehicle to rollover.
As a result of the collision, the adult male driver of the motor vehicle was transported to hospital via land ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) is on scene and will assist in the investigation. As a result, Hamilton Road is closed between Breen Road and Putnam Road. The closure is expected to be in place late into the evening.
