Yesterday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Intelligence Section, with the assistance of the Community Patrol Branch, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act Search Warrant on Elizabeth Street in Wallaceburg as part of an ongoing drug investigation. Approximately $15,000 worth of cocaine was seized for analysis. Two sets of digital scales were also seized.
A 59-year old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine. He was released with conditions pending a future court date of October 30, 2014.
