Brampton – On November 3, 2016, at 12:16pm, a deer became trapped in a fenced backyard of a residence in the area of Kenpark Avenue & Cranbrooke Court in the City of Brampton.
Brampton Animal Services attended the incident and notified Peel Regional Police. The animal had severely injured itself to a point that the animal could not be re-habilitated. Peel Regional Police were requested to euthanize the animal to end the animals suffering. There was no public safety issue in regards to the incident.
Brampton Animal Services and Peel Regional Police would like to remind residents to never approach a wild animal on their property. If an animal is injured or needs assistance to please contact Brampton Animal Services (905) 458-5800.
