Police Cruiser Knocks Teen To The Ground – No Charges Laid

On June 2, 2016 at 8:10 a.m., a fully marked Waterloo Regional Police vehicle was travelling east on Myers Road, passing by the Cambridge Christian School. A 14 year old Cambridge teen was travelling with his mother, west along Myers Road. Their vehicle was delayed in traffic and the Cambridge teen decided to exit his vehicle and cross Myers Road. In attempting this, ran in the path of the police vehicle and was struck. The Cambridge teen sustained minor injuries after being knocked to the ground. Emergency Medical Services Paramedics responded and rendered first aid. The teen did not require hospitalization. No charges were laid in this instance.
