On July 24th 2016 the Oakville Gardens General Store in the Town of Oakville and the Eyeglass Gallery in the City of Burlington were broken into.
As a result investigators from the Commercial Crime Team in Burlington launched an investigation.
The investigation identified a number of suspects all from Hamilton who have since been arrested. In total police arrested 6 adults and 1 young offender responsible for these break and enters. The name of the young offender will not be published to comply with the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Investigators from Halton Regional Police Service and Hamilton Police executed two search warrants at two addresses in Hamilton.
As a result of these searches several cartons of cigarettes and a quantity of cash were seized.
The following persons were charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime:
Fares AL-HASEL 29 years old
Tiffany JAR 35 years old
Haylee JAR 18 years old
The following persons were charged with two counts of Break and Enter, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply with Probation and/or their recognizance.
Dylan MCSHANE 26 years old
Steven HAYDEN 36 years old
Darryl SPEIGHTS 37 years old
