(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Monday August 16, 2010 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to the Gowanstown area where people saw a glider plane which appeared to be making an emergency landing.
Investigation revealed that the glider plane had made a planned landing in a field west of Hwy. 23 across from Wallace Public School. The plane landed without incident, the pilot was uninjured and the aircraft is not damaged.
