Just after 7:00 am a truck carrying pigs lost control and flipped over at Apply Line and Harvester Road, in the City of Burlington.
Eastbound Harvester Road from Appleby Line will be closed for an extended period of time while police investigate the accident.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The driver of the truck is being treated for minor injuries.
The pigs were being transported to Fearmans Pork Plant.
