(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Wednesday morning October 19, 2011 the Perth County OPP received a report of a vehicle theft from a residence on Boyne Ave in Listowel.
Investigation revealed that sometime around 1 a.m. entry was gained into the victim’s garage. The electric garage door opener was used to open the door and the truck was driven from the garage. The stolen vehicle is described as a white 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck with a “HONDA RIDGELINE†sticker across the top of the windshield. The culprit(s) may have utilized the “valet†key from the glove compartment to drive the vehicle away.
Around 8 p.m. officers on patrol located the stolen Ridgeline at a parking lot on Elizabeth St. West in Listowel. The vehicle was not damaged and it may have been in the parking lot for some time before it was located by police.
The Ridgeline may have been used in criminal activity within Perth and Huron Counties. The Perth County OPP is requesting the public’s assistance in trying to find out who may have stolen this vehicle or who may have seen this vehicle being driven around in the early morning hours of Wednesday October 19th.
