Pickup Truck Rear Ends Vehicle Stopped For School Bus

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On April 3, 2018 at approximately 3:56 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 10 near Glendale Airport Road in the Township of Chatsworth.

Initial investigation revealed that a passenger vehicle had stopped for a school bus and was rear ended by a pick-up truck. The school bus was not struck.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, a 60-year old female from the Municipality of Grey Highlands, was transported via ambulance to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pick-up truck, a 41-year old male from the Municipality of Grey Highlands, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice (PON) for careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

There were no other injuries reported.
