(South Huron, ON) At approximately 7:45 am on May 27th, a southbound pickup truck on Main Street in Exeter drifted to the right and struck a parked cube van in front of the Tim Horton’s coffee shop. Huron OPP officers arrived on scene as citizens were attempting to assist the male driver. Paramedics then found the male to be in medical distress and he was transported to the South Huron Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately the male driver did not survive the incident. Leonard KEENAN (55) of Exeter was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators were called to the scene to try and determine what caused the driver to strike the parked vehicle. At this time, the cause is undetermined and the investigation remains ongoing. No other persons were injured as a result of this crash. LP10137742
