(KINCARDINE, ON) – On January 14, 2016 at 11:31 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a pick-up truck hitting a hydro pole along Durham Street in Kincardine. Officers attended with Municipality of Kincardine fire fighters and Bruce County paramedics to find that a Black Chevrolet Silverado had struck a hydro pole near the Davidson Centre on Durham Street, Kincardine. The broken pole was on the ground and hydro lines were resting on the truck. The driver, a 63 year old Kincardine man, was charged with careless driving. He was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
