Peterbilt Transport Truck Stolen From Howick

(HOWICK, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers including members from the Huron OPP Property Crimes Unit are currently investigating the theft of a Peterbilt transport truck that was stolen from a Fordwich Line residence this past weekend.

Investigators believe the unlocked truck was stolen from the owner’s laneway sometime between 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2017. The ignition key was left in the truck.

The truck is described as a 1990 white Peterbilt, three axle transport truck. Inside the truck were some wrenches and a Snap-on impact driver.

The truck is valued at approximately $38,000.
