(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday October 09, 2012, shortly after 10 a.m., a Perth County OPP officer was on patrol along Perth Line 29 near Road 150 between Sebringville and Mitchell. The officer spoke to the driver of a stopped car and determined that he had been drinking alcoholic beverages. The driver failed a roadside breath test and was transported to the Stratford Police Station for Intoxilyzer breath tests. The Intoxilyzer tests resulted in readings above the legal limit.
Peter STEWART (62) of Stratford has been charged with “operation with over 80 mgs of alcoholâ€Â. He has a court date scheduled in Stratford at the Ontario court of Justice on November 13, 2012, to answer to this charge. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
