(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On December 27, 2017, at approximately 11:50 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Hamilton Road, Town of Dorchester.
Officers determined that the 38-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests. The breath tests revealed that the driver had more than the legal limit of alcohol in his blood.
As a result of the police investigation, Peter FRIESEN, of Middlesex Centre, has been charged with Driving While Ability impaired and Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on February 6, 2018.
