(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is looking for witness information after receiving a report of suspicious male in Mount Forest in the Township of Wellington North.
A young teen girl was approached by an unknown man at about 8:30 a.m. Monday April 3, 2017 on Sligo Road East.
The male is described as being sturdily built with brown hair, beard and mustache, wearing a white/grey ball cap, grey hoody and driving a green truck.
OPP are also investigating whether this is related to a similar incident that occurred on March 30, 2017 in the Township of Southgate where a driver stopped along Side Road 49 and approached a young teen. In that situation the driver was described as male, 20 to 30 years old, scruffy dark hair with a dark moustache wearing dark coloured clothes and a baseball hat driving a dark coloured pick-up truck.
