Investigators with the York Regional Police Sexual Assault Unit are seeking public assistance to identify a suspicious man in a white pick-up truck following an incident in the City of Vaughan.
On Thursday, September 1, 2016, at approximately 2:45 p.m., two teenaged girls were riding their bikes in the area of St. Joan of Arc Avenue and Drummond Drive when a man inside a pick-up truck approached them and made comments of a sexual nature to the girls. The girls left the area and told a parent.
Investigators are seeking assistance from the public to provide any information that may assist in identifying the vehicle and the driver.
Suspect:
Male, white
20 to 30 years
Wearing sunglasses
Short brown hair
Clean shaven
Spoke English
Vehicle:
White pick-up truck
Black bed liner
Anyone who may have been in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious is asked to contact police.
