(PERTH COUNTY, ON) Although the calendar indicates winter does not officially start until December 21st, the weather had turned and winter driving is here.
The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police has investigated 28 collisions within the past four days. The majority of these collisions were preventable if drivers had slowed down and left more space between vehicles.
Today, while the storm appeared to be over, Perth County OPP officers have been called to eight separate collisions. These were all unnecessary crashes. Drivers need to realize that summer driving conditions are over. Give yourself extra time, get those snow tires on and drive defensively.
