On Wednesday November 7, 2012 at 4:10 p.m., a 2011 Ford Focus was struck from behind by a 2002 GMC Envoy when it was stopped at the intersection of Willow Road and Marksam Road Guelph. The force of the impact demolished the Ford Focus and caused severe damage to the front end of the GMC Envoy.
The 67-year-old Guelph male driver of the Ford Focus suffered minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital.
A 2-year-old Guelph female passenger in the GMC Envoy suffered a laceration to her forehead and was transported to the hospital by Guelph Wellington EMS for treatment.
The 32-year-old Guelph female driver of the GMC Envoy was charged with Careless Driving and will appear in court in January.
