(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) – The Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to ask the public for assistance in locating 51 year-old Derek RITZ from the Township of Perth South.
Perth County OPP Crime Unit, OPP West Region Emergency Response Team, and OPP Canine Units, under the direction of Detective Inspector Martin Graham of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), continue to search for Mr. RITZ and investigate his disappearance.
Further investigation has revealed Derek RITZ was last seen in the Avonton Road area of Sebringville on Saturday December 31, 2016, sometime before 3:00 a.m.
RITZ was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt and a dark colored leather motorcycle jacket. He is 5’11” tall, 170 lbs; he has shoulder length brown hair that is unkempt. He has brown eyes and a tattoo on his right forearm of a woman with a snake. He is possibly carrying an orange backpack.
He is known to frequent Sebringville and the City of Stratford. RITZ usually travels on foot when going between these locations.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police in locating this male party to call 1-888-310-1122.
