Male in custody after Police Investigate a Suspicious Person
On Thursday May 7th, 2015 members of the Brantford Police Service were requested to investigate a suspicious vehicle at the Walter Gretzky School located at 365 Blackburn Drive in the City of Brantford.
Police investigation revealed that a person was sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of the school with binoculars and was not associated to any child at the school. The vehicle left the area prior to Police arrival but was located a short time later. The person driving the vehicle was arrested on an unrelated matter. Further investigation lead to the accused being charged with Criminal Harassment in relation to the incident at the school.
The accused will be held in custody for 72 hours while Police continue the investigation and execute a search warrant on the vehicle which was driven by the accused.
The identity of the accused is not being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
