At approximately 9:15am Owen Sound Police were called to an accident at the intersection of 2nd Avenue East and 9th Street East. A Chevrolet Trail Blazer turning left from northbound 2nd Avenue East to westbound 9th Street East struck a 77 year old woman crossing 9th Street East.
The woman was transported to hospital by ambulance and treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet Trail Blazer has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian.
