On Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 4:00pm a pedestrian was struck by a single vehicle while crossing Wellington Street West near the Wellington Medical Arts Building located at 121 Wellington Street West, in the City of Barrie.
The 49 year old Barrie male was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Center where he was transported to a Toronto Hospital due to the extent of his injuries. He is currently listed in critical condition.
The Barrie Police Collision Reconstruction Team is continuing their investigation at this time. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact PC Doug Avery or PC Mark Casey of the Barrie Police Service at 705-725-7025.
