On January 7, 2016, at approximately 9:20 am, a 55 year old Cambridge man was crossing Victoria Street South at Joseph Street in the crosswalk. The male was struck by a pickup truck turning off of Joseph Street. The man received a severe head trauma injury that resulted in him being transported to a Hamilton Hospital. The driver of the pickup truck has been charged with Careless Driving, Failing to Yield to a Pedestrian on Roadway, and three other Provincial Offences.
