Pedestrian Struck

On December 3, 2013 at 7:20 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to Dawson Road to investigate the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. It is alleged that a 26-year-old Guelph man was operating a 1995 four door Mazda southbound on Dawson Road. His vehicle struck a pedestrian, a 60-year-old Guelph man, who was crossing Dawson Road.
The pedestrian was transported to the Guelph General Hospital and later airlifted to St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries.

A portion of Dawson Road was closed for five hours while investigators investigated the collision.
