On March 17, 2014 at 5:38 p.m., the Guelph Police responded to a pedestrian struck by a vehicle call at Speedvale Avenue and Delhi Street. It is alleged that a vehicle was turning and struck a male pedestrian as he crossed the road. The pedestrian was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries. The female driver has been charged with fail to yield to a pedestrian under the Highway Traffic Act.
