PEDESTRIAN CHARGED AFTER CRASH WITH CAR
(South Huron, ON) – On April 1, 2011 at approximately 12:30 pm a South Huron male was walking in the west alley of Exeter when he and a car travelling in the alley crashed together. Significant damage was made to the windshield of the vehicle and the pedestrian suffered upper body injuries. Following the collision, the pedestrian allegedly became involved in a verbal altercation with the driver and he then spit in her face. The pedestrian and driver were known to each other. The pedestrian was treated at the South Huron Hospital and later released.
Significant investigation was completed at the scene, with the pedestrian and speaking to witnesses. As a result, the pedestrian has been charged with one count of Mischief Under $5,000, one count of Assault and one count of Breach Probation. Craig SNELL (30) of South Huron will answer to his charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter on May 19, 2011. LP11081694
