Pedestrian Airlifted To Hospital

(BROCKTON, ON) – On August 28, 2017 at approximately 1:00 p.m., South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), together with Bruce County Paramedic Services (EMS), responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Concession 2 SDR in the Municipality of Brockton.

Investigation revealed that a Dodge Ram pick-up truck hauling an enclosed farm trailer was travelling eastbound on Concession 2 SDR when a pedestrian entered the travelled portion of the roadway into the path of the vehicle.

A 26-year old Brockton woman was transported to an area hospital. She was air lifted to a London hospital with serious, life-altering injuries.

The driver of the truck, a 39-year old male from Mildmay, Ontario was not at fault. He was not injured.
