The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– from 2006 to 2011, Jose Colindres, now 64, was a Pastor in an Evangelical Christian Congregation operating within the City of Toronto
– a 47-year-old woman and 16-year-old girl were members of the congregation
– he sexually assaulted them during that time
On Monday, August 15, 2016, Jose Colindres, 64, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) five counts of Sexual Assault
2) three counts of Sexual Interference
3) three counts of Sexual Exploitation
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, 10 a.m., room 101.
Police are concerned there may be other victims.
