The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.
Paul David Melnichuk, 81, is a Pastor at the Prayer Palace Church at 1111 Arrow Road. Between May 1, 2014 and September 12, 2014, he met with a woman in her 40s and another woman under 20, who are members of his congregation.
It is alleged that:
– when he was alone with the women, he sexually assaulted them
– the assaults took place on more than one occasion
– all assaults took place on church property at 1111 Arrow Road
He has now been charged with:
1) five counts of Sexual Assault
He appeared in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, January 8, 2015, 10 a.m., room 306.
Police believe there may be more victims.
