(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – On March 16, 2012 at approximately 10:45 a.m. a Huron OPP officer stopped a Ford Escort on Parr Line for a traffic violation. Upon speaking with the driver and passenger the officer learned the passenger was failing to comply with a condition of his probation order. The accused was searched and a quantity of an illegal drug was located.
As a result, a 19 year old from Central Huron has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to comply with Disposition under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA). A court date has been scheduled for May 7, 2012 at Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. LP12069672
