Parking Arrangements for Owen Sound Attack Game January 3

Owen Sound, Ontario – Monday, December 29, 2014 – The City has arranged for free off-site parking and shuttle buses to accommodate Attack fans arriving for the 7:30 pm game on Saturday January 3. This is due to the parking spaces displaced by the Rogers Hometown Hockey event at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre this weekend.

The two off-site parking locations are the National Grocers/former LCBO lot on 2nd Avenue East at 11th Street East, and the Health Unit lot on 17th Street East. Buses will run continuously from these locations to the Bayshore starting at 6 pm on Saturday. Buses will return Attack fans to the parking lots beginning immediately following the game until all passengers have departed.

The City encourages Attack fans to consider using these alternate parking sites and avoid the traffic congestion on game night at the Bayshore. City officials believe that the capacity of the parking lots at the Bayshore will be sufficient during the remainder of the Rogers Hometown Hockey event.
