On September 28, 2015 at 6:20 p.m., Guelph Police went to the Stone Road Mall to assist with two individuals suspected of fraudulently trying to make a purchase. Police located the male and female in the parking lot. Investigation discovered identifications belonging to multiple people as well as break-in tools. They were both arrested.
A 34-year-old Palmerston man has been charged with fraud under $5,000, personation, possession of stolen property and possession of break-in tools. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on September 29, 2015.
A 35-year-old Guelph female has been charged with fraud under $5,000, possession of stolen property, possession of break-in tools and breach of probation. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on September 29, 2015.
