On Tuesday just before 11:00 a.m. police responded to Cottonie’s Country Fresh Meats with respect to a workplace accident. An employee of the business cut the palm of his hand while operating a meat saw. The 32yr old Owen Sound resident was transported to hospital by ambulance with respect to the laceration he sustained. The Ministry of Labour was notified of the incident and would investigate the matter further.
