On August 29th, 2014 the Owen Sound Police conducted an investigation into a 51 year old Owen Sound woman suspected of cocaine trafficking. The police placed the woman under surveillance on Friday evening and arrested her without incident in a west side parking lot. The female was found to be in possession of a quantity of cocaine separated and packaged into small bags for distribution with a street value of $700.00. The woman was also found to be in possession of $160.00 cash, allegedly the proceeds from drug trafficking. The woman was held in custody pending a bail hearing, charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
