Owen Sound Police Seek Witnesses To Hit And Run

The Owen Sound Police are investigating a fail to remain that occurred in the 700 block of 4 th Avenue East Owen Sound just prior to midnight. A white Chevrolet pickup truck failed to negotiate a turn from 8 th Street East onto 4 th Avenue East and hit a tree. The truck then fled the scene south bound on 4 th Avenue East. The truck had significant damage to the right front fender area.

Police would like to speak to any person that may have witnessed the accident and or saw the occupant (s) of the vehicle. Witnesses can contact Constable Robson at 519-372- 1234 extension 152 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 222-8427 (TIPS).
