Owen Sound Methamphetamine Bust – Michael William Wallace Arrested

The Owen Sound Police Service continues its commitment to community safety and drug enforcement.

On July 5 th , 2018 the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Unit and Criminal Investigations Branch concluded an investigation into a suspected drug trafficker. Just before 4:30pm Detectives assisted by Uniform Officers conducted a stop of a vehicle in the 1000 block of 3 rd Avenue East. The suspect, a passenger in the vehicle was arrested. A female was also taken into custody.

Police seized over 330 grams of crystal meth, valued at over $30,000. Police also seized $725 in cash and a small quantity of other drugs.

52 year old Michael William Wallace of no fixed address has been charged with;

Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking

Possession of proceeds of crime

Possession of oxycodone

Possession of ecstasy

Wallace appeared in court today in Owen Sound for a bail hearing. The female was released without

charges.
