Owen Sound Hit And Run Update – Vehicle Recovered – Police Seeking Owner

The suspect vehicle involved in Tuesday’s fail to remain occurrence was been recovered on Wednesday on Young’s Drive in Georgian Bluffs. Police are seeking the registered owner of the black Pontiac Grand Am in order to continue their investigation.

Fail to Remain Collision in Owen Sound – Tuesday, June 14 th , 2016 The Owen Sound Police Service is seeking assistance from the public regarding a fail to remain collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon. Shortly after 3:00 PM in the 800 block of 10 th Street West, a black car exited the parking lot of Cottenie’s Country Fresh Meats. The car collided with an eastbound black Kia being driven by an Owen Sound woman.

The driver of the car did not stop at the scene, and was last seen westbound heading out of the city of Owen Sound. The car is described as a small to mid-sized black car of an unknown make being driven by a young male driver. The car received obvious damage.

Constable Tracey Watson stated “there was a very high volume of traffic at the time and someone will have witnessed this collision”.
