The Owen Sound Police Service is reminding residents that the city’s overnight winter parking by-law comes into effect December 01 st . Parking on any city street is prohibited from 1:00 am to 7:00am between December 1 st and March 31 st .
Vehicle owners found in contravention of the by-law are subject to a $30.00 parking fine and the potential of having their vehicle towed at their expense.
Emergency overnight parking is available in designated areas of the municipal parking lot in the 800 Block of 3 rd Avenue East.
