(KINCARDINE, ON) – On February 8th, 2012 at 12:20 am, the South Bruce OPP was called to a house fire on Fraser Drive in Kincardine. Officers arrived to find the home engulfed by flames.
Members of the Kincardine Fire Department located and removed the home owner who was transported to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine.
The home owner, 72 year old Ila WELLMAN, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The South Bruce OPP is investigating the cause of the fire with the assistance of the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit and investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office.
Anyone that may have witnessed the fire is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
